Cotta IPA Italian Pale Ale

Special Italian Pale Ale craft beer, bottle refermented and brewed in Italy using the top-fermentation method. Cotta IPA is inspired by the traditional British style and is made with pale and amber malts, top-fermenting yeast and aromatic hops.

Its amber color with copper highlights is intense and naturally hazy, topped by a white, creamy and persistent head. The aroma is marked by the intensity of the hops, with citrusy and resinous notes obtained through dry-hopping with American hop varieties.

On the palate, it stands out for its pronounced bitterness, well balanced by the sweet notes of the specialty malts. The finish is dry, with pleasant fruity undertones.

Recommended for

Ideal for those who enjoy aromatic, intense beers with a bold character. The citrusy and resinous hop notes, together with the pronounced bitterness and dry finish, make it perfect for tasting moments, informal occasions and pairings with bold flavors.

The recipe

The Cotta IPA recipe is based on water, barley malt, fructose, hops and yeast. Pale and amber malts contribute to the structure of the beer and to the sweet notes that balance its bitterness.

Hops play a central role in the aromatic profile: the dry-hopping technique with American hop varieties enhances citrusy and resinous notes, making the beer intense and distinctive. Top-fermenting yeast completes the profile, contributing to the dry finish and light fruity undertones.
